On the go with a child
What you need to keep in mind
We think it’s great that you want to go on a trip with your child! If your child is old enough and you provide us with a declaration of consent, then he or she may also travel unaccompanied. Here is a quick overview of all the important information.
Car seats for children ages 0–3
If your child is between the ages of 0 and 3, you must provide us with a car seat that can be secured with a three-point seat belt. The following seats in the Pinkbus are equipped with a three-point seat belt:
Lower level: 19A, 19B
Upper level: 1A, 1B, 1D, 1E, 12D, 12E, 16C
Please book one of these seats for your child.
Children under 8 years of age
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children ages 8–15
Children between ages 8 and 15 can travel unaccompanied with a declaration of consent from a parent or legal guardian.
You can download and print out a declaration of consent form here. The form must include the name of the person (including identification number) who is going to drop the child off at the bus as well as the person who is going to pick the child up upon arrival. This makes it possible for the driver to ensure that your child is picked up by the right person.
As the costs for transport and seat have to be covered by our unchanging low standard price of 25 euros per trip, children pay the same fare as adults. We hope that you can understand why this is necessary.
